Fall Fashion...

FINALLY... the leaves have fallen !

Dressing according to the weather can sometimes be risky. Well here in Memphis we've always been known to have some "bipolar" weather". Since the leaves have finally decided to fall from the trees I've gained awesome scenery's to use as backgrounds as I capture my "dope" via pictures. On most days, I just randomly select whatever article of clothing that's thrown across my bed, floor or hanging from my dresser & put it on, with not a care as if it matches or not. Magically the articles I always choose always end up being dope & that's basically the highlight of me choosing style.

On this particular day it took me forever to get dressed. After listening to La Roux - Quicksand EP album, I was practically turnt, electrically modified and ready to roll. I grabbed my Ultimate Orchard lipstick by Revlon and made my way out the door... :-)

Greetings Earthling's :-)

Hellooooooooooooooooo sweet faces. I'm extremely excited to start blogging & giving all you lovely people great readings. My purpose of my blog is to reach out to fellow fashioners & others about my love for fashion ,  fashion & more fashion. I also plan on adding personal/interesting random rants, daily relatable issues & super cool shit. So, now that your aware of my objectives, let me introduce you to me.......

My name is Ke' Nosha Ali Anderson  I was born & raised in Tennessee (Memphis) and I am defiantly a "southern belle" at heart. I am a senior at the University of Memphis and an Physical/Occupational Therapist is soon to be my career title. I absolutely love lipstick, ponytails, sweat pants & sneakers. Without those things I'm just a basic rascal, with a beautiful face & splendid personality. My interest in fashion came into place 7 almost 8 years ago (freshman year of high school). The people in which I hung around including myself would always dress our best. We used to mix & match every article of clothing we wore. We used to walk the halls of Manassas High School as if we were runway models. We were "grade A baddies"  (so we thought).  As time progressed I became more deeply involved in fashion. Fashion gives me a certain amount of freedom and allows me to express and be who I want. In most cases a weirdo sure fits, which is absolutely cool "I be that PRETTY muthafawka". Lol. I often style my family & friends because majority of them lack rhythm when it comes down to the groove of dressing up to par. I consider myself a fashionista for one reason, I LOVE FASHION. As for my personal style, it is very assorted. Glitter, stripes & polka-dots are few of my favorite patterns. I love overdressing, being tacky is my ideal style of dress. I've always been known to dress up one day and down the next depending on how I’m feeling. Its very rare that you would catch me without a giant bow or bright scarf around my head and or neck: I freaking love head & scruff accessories. To me fashion is a broad expression of ones personal creativity, creativity filled with fun.

-What does PeerfectlyPainted mean?
I came up with the name "PeerfectlyPainted" for several reasons. Being perfect may seem unattainable to most, however in reality we are ALL perfect according to God. No matter how hard we may think we're not so much perfect we are, especially if painted. If I was to paint a portrait of my life I would want it to stand out, be great & be absolutely perfect. Why paint a boring life, when you can have a grand one, which is nothing less than perfect. PeerfectlyPainted describes both me & my fellow peers, that's why I chose to incorporate the term "peer" in the spelling of PeerfectlyPainted. Even with the flaws that were "blessed" with, we should always view ourselves as being perf.

until next time,
Ken :-)
